Hi! My name is Lina. I’m a licensed pharmacist with a PharmD currently working at a specialty pharmacy in New York City.  I have previously worked in retail pharmacy, the pharmaceutical industry, long term care pharmacy, medical writing, and MTM (medication therapy management) consulting. Over my years of practicing as a pharmacist, it has grown more and more apparent to me that there is a lack of information out there about the pharmacy and prescription process.  I have always thought knowledge is power, so my goal with my blog is for patients to take control of their health.  I want to empower people with the information to make the best health decisions for themselves.
